Australian Federal Government Grants

AUS – Sport Australia Funding Opportunities – CLOSED
Opportunities for individuals and sporting organisations to receive funding through Sport Australia.
Community Grants Hub: Volunteer Grants – CLOSED
Volunteer Grants aim to support the efforts of Australia’s volunteers providing small amounts of funding that organisations and community groups can use to support volunteer programs.
Energy Efficient Communities Program – CLOSED
To help community organisations with energy generation, efficiency, equipment upgrades and storage projects (solar, generator systems, batteries etc). Community organisations can apply for a grant of up to $12,500 with no co-contribution required.

 

Queensland Government Grants

Minor Infrastructure Program – OPEN
The Minor Infrastructure Program is now open for funding for infrastructure projects that enhance community participation opportunities through the provision of spaces that are:

  • safe – reduced exposure to health and safety risk
  • quality- meeting standard required for community level participation
  • efficient – more efficient use of the places and spaces (can be used by more people, cater for more activities, be used for longer hours)
  • inclusive and accessible – enhancing usability of places and spaces and ensuring no one is excluded from participation.
Gambling Community Benefit Fund Grant – $100K Super Round – CLOSED
The Gambling Community Benefit Fund (GCBF) provides not-for-profit groups operating in Queensland with the opportunity to apply for grants from $500 to $35,000. The fund allocates grants to not-for-profit community groups, to enhance their capacity to provide services, leisure activities and opportunities for Queensland communities. Applications are now closed.
Get Playing Facilities Grant – CLOSED
Get Playing Places and Spaces provides funding, up to $150,000, for infrastructure development so that more Queenslanders can be involved in sport and active recreation.
Active Clubs Kickstart – CLOSED
The program provides funding of $2,000 to assist not-for-profit local and regional sport and active recreation organisations re-establish their operations in a COVID-safe environment. Funding is available for equipment, training and operational expenses.
